In The summer of 1992, an abandoned hospital in rural Indiana became the site of a Class Zero Rip. Three teenagers disappeared, presumed dead. Local law enforcement classified it as a case of runaways who never came home, despite protests from the parents to the contrary. That fall, once the location was no longer under scrutiny from local press and the Franklin County Sheriff's department, the Westfield Institute dispatched two agents to investigate the Rip. Living up to its name as 'The Crossroads of America', the Rip was genuine, leading to one of the largest Liminals in Institute records. It closed while the agents were still inside.
